  • DO YOU HAVE A STUDIO LOCATION?
    We have two locations. Our hair extensions store is located inside the Phenix Salon Suites in Franklin Square. Please call us to book a hair appointment or schedule one online.   • HOW MUCH HAIR DO I NEED?
    We recommend purchasing at least 2 bundles of hair for lengths 14-18, 3 bundles for lengths 20-24 and 4 bundles for lengths above 24 inches. Please keep in mind your desired look when deciding how many bundles to purchase. The standard sew in requires 3 bundles of hair.
  • CAN I COLOR THIS HAIR?
    You may bleach and dye the hair, however please make sure you practice routine maintenance to ensure your extensions are well conditioned and minimize the occurrence of brittle hair. Please keep in mind that certain dye products are much harsher than others therefore it is advised to deep condition your extensions and minimize the use of shampoo. Remember, just like your natural hair you cannot apply any and every product and expect the same results.
  • HOW LONG DOES THIS HAIR LAST?
    Upstage Lifestyle hair extensions can last 3-4 years or longer depending on how much you manipulate the hair. If the hair remains in its natural state with no dying or bleaching you can expect to get the maximum wear out of your extensions. You will notice that with each and every wash your hair extensions will appear rejuvenated and bouncy. Please keep in mind that although you are purchasing human hair, it is no longer attached to its nutrient source and will require proper care and attention. When doing sew ins, be sure not to penetrate the weft as this will lessen its durability. When removing extensions be sure your hair stylist does not cut the thread that structures the weft. These practices will help to maintain your extensions and minimze shedding.
  • HOW DO I CARE FOR MY HAIR?
    -Deep condition your extensions every two weeks or sooner -When combing through hair begin at the ends and work your way up using a paddle brush or wide tooth comb. ​ -Either twist your hair or secure your hair with a silk bonnet at night to lock in moisture and reduce dryness -For best after wash results, let your extensions air dry. If you do not have the time to wait, then place your hair in a hair dryer but take it out before the hair has fully dried. This will help to retain some of the moisture. ​
  • WHERE SHOULD I MAIL HAIR EXTENSIONS THAT I WANT MADE INTO A CUSTOM WIG UNIT?

  • CAN I RETURN OR EXCHANGE HAIR EXTENSIONS?
    We do not offer returns. We will accomodate exchanges on a case by case basis for hair extensions purchases made IN STORE only. You will have 3 days to exchange your hair extensions for another length or style within our immediate stock. All hair exchanges must be in tact with all material attached. Hair cannot be washed, colored or manipulated in any way when requesting an exchange. Currently we are not accepting refunds or exchanges of wigs, closures or frontals. We are committed to providing you with as much guidance as possible before purchasing extensions.
